Open Forum 2012
Friday 24th February – Saturday 3rd June
Open Forum offered 15 days of one-to-one feedback sessions and professional development lectures across seven English regions.Venues included:
East Street Arts, Bloc Projects, Trove, Bath Artists’ Studios, Stroud Valley Artspace, Lincoln Art Programme, Aid & Abet, Wysing Arts Centre, Unity Arts Trust, Fabrica, Coventry Artspace, Movement, Blue Monkey Studio, Platform A and Art Space Portsmouth.
One-to-one sessions were intended to give critical feedback, followed by one of two evening lectures ‘How to apply to Prizes and Awards’ or ‘What is the Art World’. 389 People participated across 15 days. 95% of respondents thought they had developed their understanding of the ‘Art World’ through the event.
Open Forum 2012 was supported by Arts Council England: Grants for the Arts.
